This is my most asked question when I serve these so thought Iโd do a quick reel with a smoothie recipe and how we make these super easy โbites.โ Theyโre suitable from 9 months when bubs has developed that pincer grip to manage the slippery chase of these. Theyโre so good for teething as well as getting extra greens in ๐ฑ๐๐ผ

Frozen Smoothie Bites
Ingredients
Green Smoothie Ingredients
- 1 Ripe frozen banana
- 4 Chopped strawberries
- 1-1.5 Cups Soy milk (calcium fortified; or plant based milk of choice)
- 1 Tbsp Hemp seeds
- 1/4 Cup Rolled oats
- 2 Handfuls Kale
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend till smooth
- Pour out 2 smoothies then pour the leftovers in to a chocolate mould for fun cute shapes as thick or thin as you like/have leftover **Tip: put the mould on a plate otherwise when you lift it to put in the freezer it will spill (speaking from experience ๐)
- Pop the leftovers in the freezer for 4 hours or overnight (cover with clingfilm or similar if your freezer gets frost or if leaving overnight)
- Enjoy your smoothie while you wait
- Pop them out of the mould and then store in an airtight container in the freezer for 3 months. Allow them to sit for 5 mins prior to serving to avoid freezer burn โ๏ธ
