We love overnight oats for an easy ready-made breakfast, and this Bircher muesli takes that to the next level with added extra nutrients from the seeds and the probiotics from the yogurt.
Suitable from 6+* months (see notes) 🌱 Serves 2-3 adults & 2-3 toddlers/babies (this lasted us 3 days but that depends on how much you eat for breakfast)

Vegan Bircher Muesli
Ingredients
- 1 apple (cored & finely grated)
- 1.5 cups/150g of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup/125ml of soy milk (or other)
- 1/2 cup/125ml of orange juice (or apple)
- 1/3 cup/50g of seeds (we used pumpkin & hemp)
- 1/3 cup/50g of dried fruit (we used cranberries & sultanas)
- 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
- 1 cup/250g of plain coconut yogurt (or other)
Optional extra to serve:
- Top with some extra fruit, yogurt, seeds, or chopped nuts of choice
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a large dish or container and stir to combine.
- Cover and place in the fridge overnight (or a minimum of 3 hours).
- Serve with any extra toppings and enjoy.
Notes
Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
To serve from 6-9 months you can blend to make this a smoother texture, and from 9-18 months make sure to chop any seeds like pumpkin seeds before adding in.
