Baby Led Weaning 👶🏼Suitable 6+months
This is the same recipe for our normal banana oat pancake recipe, just oven cooked so no oil to pan fry (& less hands on time – mum life win 🙌🏼). It’s also really versatile with whatever toppings you have, and if you don’t freeze any, there’s loads left over for snacks 😋

Vegan Sheet Pancakes
Ingredients
- 1 cup/ 120g of oat flour (blended rolled oats)
- 1 banana (100g peeled)
- 2/3 cup/ 170ml of soy milk (or other plant based milk)
- 1 tsp of baking powder
Toppings we used
- 1 Large strawberry chopped
- 2 dates sliced and 1 Tbsp of almond butter
- 1/4 of a banana sliced & 1 Tbsp of desiccated coconut
- Handful of raspberries and/or blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180c/350f.
- Add the oat flour, banana, soy milk & baking powder to a blender and mix until smooth (~ 10 seconds), or mash the banana and stir all the ingredients together.
- Pour out into a lined baking tray/sheet & evenly spread (ours is 20x30cm).
- Add toppings of choice.
- Cook for 20 minutes or until lightly brown, then cut and serve.
Notes
Store in the fridge for 2 days or freezer for 3 months.
You can double this to make the pancakes thicker and fluffier if you prefer too (cook for 25-30mins).

My little 8 month old adored these! Were so simple to make – just blend and pour in baking tray. Was also really tasty! I didn’t need to add any maple syrup. Great recipe💖
Thank you for the feedback! Glad they went down well with your little one 🥳
Don’t need to pre heat the oven?
Yes, preheat it first 🙂
We make these all the time now! 😍 SO good.. and simple! We double the recipe so it makes a big baking trays worth
I’m so glad to hear that!
These were delicious! My 8 month old was so happy eating them, and my selective five year old enjoyed them too! I added chocolate chips for the five year old, and added maple syrup for mine 😋 I had never tried making my own oat flour before, but it was a breeze and didn’t feel like it added any extra work to the recipe, since after blending the oats I used the blender to combine the rest of the ingredients anyway. Thank you for the awesome recipe!
