Simple French Toast
Ingredients
- 1/2 banana (100g)
- 1 tsp ground flaxseed
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 125 ml soy milk
- 2 slices bread (thick slices, not loaf slices)
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- Mash the banana with a fork, then add the flaxseed, cinnamon and soy milk & stir to combine.
- Place each slice of bread in for approx 10 seconds to absorb, turn and repeat for both slices.
- Add the coconut oil to a frying pan on medium/high heat, then add each slice and cook 3-4mins each side
- Serve warm.
- This makes enough for one adult and one baby/toddler. Serve the baby pieces in appropriate sizes.
