This is the smoothest & quickest hummus recipe which doesn’t require you to de shell chickpeas AND that’s suitable for babies 🙌🏼

We love it on pasta, with veggies, straight from the spoon, and on toast.

Homemade Hummus For Babies

Prep Time 5 minutes

Equipment

  • 1 food processor

Ingredients

  • 1 x 400g can of chickpeas (drained and rinsed weight; approx 240g)
  • 2 Tbsp Tahini* (once exposed to sesame as an allergen)
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • Juice of half a lemon (or 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar)
  • 2-3 Ice cubes

Instructions 

  • Put all the ingredients in to a blender and blend till smooth - approx 15-20 seconds
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Store in the fridge in an airtight container for 3 days
Note: don’t skip the ice cubes, it makes it super smooth & fluffy!
